Read. Reign. Repeat.

Count My Lies by Sophie Stava

Queen B’s Decree: Count My Lies is a thriller that initially is told from the perspective of Sloane, a pathological liar who seems to develop inappropriate attachments. I’m not saying she’s a stalker…but you read between the lines. She meets up with a family and immediately gets enmeshed with their life…and then you find out more.

Is this story realistic? No. I’d like to think that forensics and science would intervene, but hey, this is fiction. And ✨I don’t care✨

I wasn’t expecting the twist or the story to go the way it did. When the narrators switched I was flabbergasted and the more I listened, the more I couldn’t stop listening. I really loved that we got perspectives from all three main characters, it really made the story just that more complete for me.

A quick and enjoyable thriller that surprised me!
