Queen B’s Decree: I am hooked on this series. Crazy obsessive characters that are morally grey and a little dark? Yes please.
Dutton owns a couple of fancy gentleman’s clubs, in addition to working with his mafia cousin, and he finally meets his new employee, Posie. But Posie isn’t impressed by the big boss. And that’s essentially waving a red flag in front of a bull—he gets obsessed with her.
I loved their progression. A little push and pull, a little “oh it’s only sex,” a little “I’m a single mom on the down low and you are trouble.” Posie knew just how to push Dutton’s buttons (teehee that rhymes) and the results are flaming hot chemistry.
The side characters are all so important to this series. Dutton’s family is so supportive and sweet and the way they treat Posie’s son is heart melting. But most of all, I can’t wait for the twins’ books; I just know Ford’s story is gonna be amazing.
