Queen B’s Decree: I remember Caleb (aka C-Bomb) from the Reed Rivers Trilogy as the bad boy/hot mess drummer of a famous and popular rock band. So I wondered how he would turn into a likable character.
And you know what? Caleb is still basically a hot mess. But that’s the beauty of this book. He doesn’t immediately lose his demons or become a stand-up citizen. He is constantly working on it and facing temptations, actively choosing to make decisions for the best of his daughter, Raine, and his obsession, Aubrey.
Despite there being an age gap, Aubrey and Caleb felt natural together. Aubrey has been his daughter’s second parent for years, while Caleb is just now learning what it’s like to be a ‘grown-up.’ And did I mention the seggsy scenes? Extra 🔥
Finding Home is an emotional and sexy read with enough moments of humor and levity that I couldn’t stop turning the pages for more.
