Queen B’s Decree: I am still firmly enthralled by this series.
Violet has matured, turned into the badass I knew she could be. Xaden is still the swoony, protective, morally grey hero we love. The dragons are still some of the best parts of the story. There are also still a million characters and I feel like Charlie Day in It’s Always’s Sunny, trying to work on my theories.
Is this the best book ever? No. But dang, I am still totally entranced and I can’t wait for more.
Side note: If Ridoc dies, I will mutiny and yeet myself into the sea.
