Queen B’s Decree: Sometimes I just need a cozy read that warms my heart. A Simple Life ticked all my boxes.
- minimal angst? ✅
- a bit of instalove? ✅
- a grumpy hero (with an inner marshmallow)? ✅
- some spice? ✅
A Simple Life was just an enjoyable read. It was comfortable and sweet and I enjoyed the bits of humor. I loved their bickering at the beginning, until it starts to transform to more. And Quinn’s daughter Abby was adorable and the relationship she forms with John made my heart melt.
A sweet and lovable story that I couldn’t put down.
