Queen B’s Decree: Wicked is the Reaper is a gray retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Wicked ‘wins’ the princess, Rowan, and steals her away to his reclusive castle where he locks her in his dungeon.
This novella is pretty short, so there isn’t a ton of time for relationship development. But I did still love Rowan’s progression. She was so strong, determined to escape and survive. And I loved seeing Wicked’s thoughts and actions change and adjust.
And despite the short length, there was still enough time for some steam!
I only wish this could have been a little longer, but regardless, was an enjoyable listen.
