Read. Reign. Repeat.

Cash by Jessica Peterson

Queen B’s Decree: This one had the best tropes: city girl x cowboy, enemies-to-lovers, he falls first.

Mollie was a hard character to like at first. She was such a spoiled rich girl. But…grief and regret are immersive emotions, I understand how she struggled with her distant relationship with her late dad. And she showed such impressive character growth. I loved how she opened up and had some real discussions with open communication with Cash.

And Cash? Gah, so swoony. He’s dealing with being the eldest sibling, to feeling like he always has to take care of everything and everyone. His banter with Mollie was so funny, and their chemistry—off the charts hot.

Oh, did I mention there’s no third act breakup?

I loved everything about this one—especially the male narrator, you can call me city girl ANY DAY—and I’m excited for more in the series.
