Read. Reign. Repeat.

Puck and Prejudice by Lia Riley

Queen B’s Decree: It is a truth universally acknowledged that if a book has Pride and Prejudice references, I will read it. Puck and Prejudice features a hockey goalie who is transported back in time to 1812 England, where he encounters spinster, Lizzy. And guess who Lizzy’s bff is…you guessed it, Jane Austen.

Filled with P&P quotes and references – shout out to the “excellent boiled potatoes” –  Puck and Prejudice is light, fun, and entertaining. There was excellent chemistry between Tucker and Lizzy with just the right amount of steam.

Tucker was such #partnergoals, and I loved him being a hockey goalie, even if I wished there was more hockey on page. Can you imagine a hockey player wearing mens’ breeches? ✨fans self✨

I’m a little more meh on the ending, it didn’t feel as satisfying as I had hoped for. Regardless, Puck and Prejudice was a cute read.
