Queen B’s Decree: I love a marriage of convenience trope—I love watching the characters fall, despite their intentions.
Hate the One You’re With also had a second chance romance feel. You get to see how Em and Caleb began and fell for each other…then how they disastrously part. And naturally…it’s all a big misunderstanding.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably know that I love ✨grovel✨. I need it. It’s necessary to my life’s blood. And Caleb didn’t give me enough. While I loved his dirty talk and his ability to be swoony, I wanted more apologies.
Overall, Hate the One You’re With was angsty and emotional and I was hooked from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
