Queen B’s Decree: The meet-cute in this one was adorable. Jules and Leo meet at a party and two years later, he doesn’t even recognize her when she becomes his assistant (not wearing an X-Men-themed full body costume probably makes it harder). But does Jules forget? Hell nah, this woman remembers everything.
Jules is my favorite. She’s worked her way up the chain at Leo’s hotel and she wants the manager job, so she’ll do just about anything to get it. When Leo needs a fake fiancé—as basically an emotional support fiancé to face his ex—Jules knows she’s right for the part.
The Player + The Pact was fun and sexy, but I appreciated the moments of realness. When Leo has to face his insecurities and fears; when Jules deals with her deadbeat dad. Despite all that, the story never felt heavy. I still binge read and couldn’t stop turning the pages just to get a little bit more of the spice and swoon.
I’m looking forward to the next in the series!
