Read. Reign. Repeat.

Pardon My Frenchie by Farrah Rochon

Queen B’s Decree: Pardon My Frenchie was an adorable and easy read.

With a bit of an enemies-to-lovers vibe at the beginning, sparks fly between Ashanti and Thad when they butt heads over the care of his grandmother’s dog, Puddin’. But after a video of her dog Duchess and his now dog Puddin’ snuggling goes viral, they decide to work together to maximize the media interest for their respective businesses.

If you don’t like dogs (or pets in general), this romance won’t be for you. The dogs are a BIG part of this story.

This romance was a bit of a slow burn, but I enjoyed them getting to know each other. Ashanti was a well-developed character, and I loved how she took such good care of her sisters. Thad was a grump initially, but you soon get to see he’s as fluffy as a marshmallow.

This was a light and fun read without much angst.
