I just had so much fun reading this one. Full of witty banter, ridiculous hijinks, sexual chemistry, and a cute kitty, My Favorite Boss was both lighthearted while also addressing some deeper topics. Magnolia is taking care of her father with Alzheimer’s, and struggles with her grief of losing that relationship. And Alex (aka Bane) has closed himself off from relationships after dealing with his toxic mother and stepfamily. But together, Maggie and Alex are able to support each other.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can’t wait for more from Melanie Moreland.
