Queen B’s Decree: Fast & Reckless is a sports romance with Formula One racing…and I know approximately nothing about this. Unless it happens in Talladega Nights, then shake and bake, baby.
Mira is the boss’ daughter who has been out of the racing world, laying low, since she was 16. She loves racing as much as her dad, so she’s been dying to get back. Will is the newest driver, who was the wunderkind a few years ago before he wasted his lackluster season on women and partying and is bound and determined to make it to the top. So naturally, they are drawn to each other because they both want no relationships.
I enjoyed their transition from friends to lovers and how both were open about their vulnerabilities and past trauma. Both Mira and Will grew as characters and had open communication. But I am side-eying her dad, man needs some therapy.
Overall, Fast & Reckless was a fun and quick read but not it wasn’t super memorable.
