Queen B’s Decree: People Will Talk is definitely a rich person’s murder mystery. Gave me some Agatha Christie vibes in how easy it seemed for the rich to avoid any police interference.
Peter invites his current girlfriend, his ex-college girlfriend, and his son’s guardian to his surprise wedding…where the bride is later murdered. Honestly, Peter was a TERRIBLE human being; I kept hoping for another murder (wink wink I’m not a murderer unless it’s fiction). I enjoyed getting the multiple POV from the three women, and never knowing who is reliable or who is lying.
People Will Talk was a quick read, with the story unfolding at a nice pace. Despite it being about a murder, it was actually pretty funny and entertaining. I’ll be sure to look for more from Kieran Scott in the future.
