Queen B’s Decree: This series was like crack to me. I read the entire first three books in less than 24 hours. Including sleep!
I don’t know what it is about this series, but I am totally hooked. A snarky but still likable FMC, different magical beings, academy setting, a super kick-ass pet, angsty folks in the harem (both female and male!), etc. I love that we get multiple points-of-view, but that the primary voice is our FMC, Max. Seeing everything through her eyes, and watching her learn and grow is so intriguing.
The sense of found family is so present here, and the relationship between Max and her adopted brother Ro is seriously heartwarming and #goals.
I can’t wait to see where the romance leads. I have high hopes and I’ll be so bummed if a certain someone isn’t in the harem. And now…time to download the next in the series!
