A Court of Wicked Fae by Alaya Wells

Queen B’s Decree: You may remember how enthralled I was with the first in the series, A Kingdom of Bitter Magic. A Court of Wicked Fae picks right up where that one ended and runs with it. We ended on a major cliffhanger in AKOBM but ACOWF (so many words to type!) really worked through it well. I love that we get dual POV so I get some insight into Vexxion’s actions.

Tempest is such an intriguing character. She has such a great sense of loyalty and justice; she’s so willing to jump into danger if it means she’d help someone she cares about.

As ACOWF progresses, we learn that there so are so many secrets being kept and so much we’ve yet to learn. But throughout it all, it’s so clear that everything Vexxion does is for Tempest. That man is a total simp in the best way possible.

I’m left hanging at the end, unknowing how this will be resolved. But oh mylanta, dragons and fated mates have their claws in me and I am 100% on board for more of this story.
