Queen B’s Decree: The “went to Las Vegas and woke up married” is a micro trope that I can’t resist.
Singer Maya and football player Sloan wake up married after their first meeting upon a night in Vegas, and when the news goes viral they decide to stay married for mutual professional benefit. The physical chemistry is definitely there, but they agree to not fall in love. Should be easy peasy, right?
On the Map was a fun and fast paced read. I enjoyed the side characters and the witty dialogue between them all. I loved how supportive Sloan was of Maya. Even though their schedules were so conflicting and they were rarely together, I loved how Sloan was always a proponent of Maya being a star and achieving her dreams.
A cute and sweet read!
