Queen B’s Decree: The Love Plot was a relatively light and fun read.
Star is this free spirit, bohemian, with a couple different jobs. While Rafe is this uptight veterinarian from a wealthy family. After an awkward meeting, Rafe pays Star to be his fake girlfriend to get his family to stop trying to set him up on dates.
Their friendship was pretty fun, watching them get to know each other and it evolve from fake to real. And I liked that we got some of Star’s backstory and more of her depth. I alternated between smiling and laughing and shaking my fist in frustration at the characters, but I also kept on reading, needing more.
Overall, The Love Plot was an enjoyable and fun summery read.
