Queen B’s Decree: Welp, I have a new obsession and it’s Jonas Eriksson. I’ve never read LJ Andrews before, but after reading The Mist Thief, I’ve already downloaded the first in this interconnected series.
While yes, this is a fantasy, the world building is just enough to keep me interested but not so much that my mind wanders. What really shines here…are the characters. All of them are JUST SO GOOD. Jonas is snarky and adoring; Skadi is strong-willed but damaged; all of Jonas’ friends and family just made this entire story so much better.
The plot, the character development, the spice, the romance—all of it worked together beautifully to hook me and obsess me. I already want to read it again.
