Queen B’s Decree: I devoured this one. It’s literally enemies-to-lovers; you know I can’t resist that.
Ash is the daughter of the emperor and Kohen is the son of the opposing regime that was “conquered” by the current Emperor (the aforementioned Ash’s Dad). They’re both out in the wild to find and bond to their familiars, essentially, reluctantly working together to stay alive.
Kohen is like green flag city for me. He’s protective of his found family and doesn’t blame Ash for anything that happened to his bio-family prior. He keeps helping her and saving her and girl, open your eyes he is WONDERFUL.
I loved the action and side characters and I am super excited for more of this series. I’m 100% invested and I can’t wait for more.
