Queen B’s Decree: Into the Dark has so many tropes that I love. Fated mates, grumpy hero, monster/shifter, bad guy stalker. Mmmmhmmm yes, all good things.
Evan is such a grump. He definitely has some trauma to back it up, but whoa buddy. And even though he’s a bit of an asshole, he doesn’t scare Holly away. She sees through his scared facade to what’s deep down inside.
I was invested in the mystery and suspense and I didn’t expect that ending. I knew I had some vibes but I was still shocked by the reveal of “the bad guy” at the end.
Overall, a good paranormal read with all the tropes I love!
