Queen B’s Decree: Yah, still obsessed with this series. I couldn’t put Tangled Power down.
Honestly, this series kind of feels like my Cinderella of fantasy.
- good world building but not too much
- good romance that doesn’t outweigh the plot (and vice versa)
- bit of a fated mate feel
- quirky and fun best friend (who also is a shapeshifter)
I used the words “cozy fantasy” in my review for the first book, Compass Points, and that point still stands. This series is unbelievably comfortable and makes me want to snuggle in and read more. Luc and Rose’s relationship is so strong and loving, I just always want more.
And that cliffhanger? Ugh. Painfully good in the best way. Can’t wait to see how this story goes.
