Queen B’s Decree: Dr. Single Dad felt like a great, low stakes ending to the series.
Dax, the youngest and most aloof brother, just finds out he’s a father and the mother has no intention of parenting their daughter. So instant single dad…needs a nanny. Eira is the Mary Poppins nanny of his dreams; there to help him learn to both be a parent and bond with his daughter.
Dax was so resistant to being a parent, it was sweet to see him fall in love with his daughter. And Eira is a natural caregiver who learns to finally put herself first for once.
The side characters were so important, and I especially loved Eira’s younger siblings. And Dax’s family just keeps adding members, happy to support and love everyone.
Overall, Dr. Single Dad was a sweet and quick read, and I will miss this series.
