Queen B’s Decree: Sometimes I want a sweet and fluffy paranormal novella. And Lucky Cupid scratches that itch.
Juliet is a newly-made cupid and just doesn’t seem to fit in. She’s not making matches, her bow and arrow skills are middling, and how can she create a love match if she hasn’t felt it herself? Enter Mors, a female reaper that wants to show Juliet everything about love (and lust, wink wink).
While Lucky Cupid is a novella, I felt like it did a good job at capturing the characters’ personalities while also having just enough time to develop a relationship. While yes, it’s a bit instalovey, it’s still a satisfying pairing and the chemistry between them is electric.
Cute, cozy, and funny, Lucky Cupid was a great little, sapphic novella that hit the right spots (pun INTENDED).
