Queen B’s Decree: The murder happens at the very beginning of Right Across the Bay, then goes back and forth between the far past, the recent past, and the current day. But as more and more information came out…I started to realize that not many of the characters are very likable.
Our first murder victim, Britta, was very self-centered and selfish, and I started to wonder what caused her cousin Max to be so enmeshed with her. What was the secret that kept them together? Slowly the past gets revealed and the secrets become known and you realize how much everyone is lying.
There are a bunch of twists and the story goes in ways I never expected, but it definitely kept me interested. A quick read that kept me hooked!
