Queen B’s Decree: Dr. Fake Fiancé is a pretty light opposites-attract, fake dating romance. Vivian is a major pop star that is on the down low, hiding from the media after a big break-up. Beau is the happy “Mr. Right Now” she meets in a coffee shop and they strike up a friendship (reluctantly on Vivian’s part). It was pretty fun watching their friendship and relationship develop; they were so different.
Despite some big discussions, this story wasn’t too angsty. It was mostly fun and steamy, with some sexual chemistry that they couldn’t ignore. There was a predictable third-act break-up, but both Vivian and Beau luckily came to their senses quickly.
I loved the scenes with Beau’s family the best: Vivian fit right in and everyone was so sweet and welcoming.
I’ve enjoyed getting to know all the Cove men, and I can’t wait for the final in the series.
