But honestly Kate was great. While she has some trauma from her upbringing, she accepts her issues and bravely works on them and tries new things. And Vincent is sweet and supportive, never minimizing her fear. It was like they saw their true character on the inside, not just the pretty outside trappings; like two halves of a whole.
Their witty banter was top tier, and their connection was smoking. It was exactly what I have come to expect from Louise Bay, always an enjoyable read. I’m now patiently waiting for the next; I’m hoping Beau is next!
