Queen B’s Decree: While yes, sometimes these billionaire stories become a little predictable, the ones from J.S. Scott are always enjoyable.
Billionaire Unreachable: Wyatt features one of my favorite tropes: grumpy & sunshine. Wyatt is a grumpy older brother that believes he’s destined to be alone. Shelby is the sunshine; she’s doing her best to live happily without using her family’s name or money. And I guess the way to a man’s heart really is through his stomach…since Shelby is a chef.
The storyline follows similarly to the previous in the series, always something bad happens and someone is kidnapped or in danger. But never fear, the billionaires are here. Is it believable? No. Did I still devour and enjoy the story? Yes.
Another satisfying read from J.S. Scott.
