Read. Reign. Repeat.

You’ll Be the Death of Me by Karen M. McManus

Queen B’s Decree: I’ve had You’ll Be the Death of Me sitting on my TBR cart for ages until I discovered my library had it in audiobook. Truthfully, I feel like I’ve unlocked a life pro-tip with audiobooks.

You’ll Be the Death of Me takes place over one single day, when three “used-to-be” best friends attempt to re-live their previous best day ever skip day, and instead stumble upon a murder. It did take a while for the action to start, and from then on, all the twists just started to trickle out.

It was an easy read and I really got invested in the relationships between the three main characters, Ivy, Mateo, and Cal. I was less interested in the actual murder by the end, it seemed so pointless.

Nonetheless, a solid and entertaining read by Karen M. McManus.
