Queen B’s Decree: Genna Black had a really cute novella last fall, so when I heard she was writing a serial killer romance, I ran to sign up. I mean, what’s not irresistible about a crazy man who hates everyone except you?
There’s definitely a bit of an instalove feel to No Small Sin, but the kind that I dig. And frankly, it fits. A possible psychopathic serial killer would definitely go all in once he fell in love. And the woman he falls for? Not so innocent herself. And I think that’s part of what works so well here; Beck and TK are just on the same chaotic wavelength.
And their connection is insane (ba dum diss, I’ll be here all week!). The spice between them is ridiculously hot, and I couldn’t get enough of it. Beck is the kind of hero I can’t resist: he does all he can to learn what will give his woman pleasure. And man, he gets an A+.
No Small Sin is a quick and dirty read and hits all the right notes. I can’t wait for more of this series. Genna, put me on the list for more!
