Queen B’s Decree: So you’ve probably gathered by now that I’ve forced Sarah Blue to be my friend. We were chatting about One Pucked Up Pack and she told me her alpha/beta readers were crying while reading. I scoffed on the inside; I don’t cry nearly ever when reading romance.
Dear Reader…I should have taken that warning to heart.
One Pucked Up Pack had angst, heat, friendship, and so much more. Charlotte was a fantastic heroine. She was open about her flaws, and when worst came to worst, she did what needed to be done to work on herself. And her mates were just as wonderful. Eli was the sweet one, with golden retriever energy, Anders was the calm daddy, and Mikael, the broody fuck-up.
I just can’t really describe how much I loved One Pucked Up Pack. Sarah and I were talking and something she said resonated with me; she said I was tired of an easy romance. And she’s right. OPUP hurts so bad but when the pack gets back together, it’s beautiful. The emotional growth and development are the stars of this story, but don’t worry, the heat is still sizzling hot.
I’m so invested in this story, I think I’m going to read it again right now. And then wait—not so patiently—for more.
