Queen B’s Decree: On Thin Ice had a bunch of tropes that you might think are a bit much.

- surprise pregnancy
But it all works together well. While I categorized this as a hockey book, I would say that the focus is on the relationship building, and that the sports aspect is minimal. And frankly, the relationship building is what I needed.
Brynn, Dutch, and Nash are a wonderful combo. They talk and discuss issues like adults, and they all support and care for each other. There is some angsty moments (hello?? amnesia!) but nothing over-the-top or more than what felt appropriate.
On Thin Ice was a cute and light read with the happy ending you need.
