Queen B’s Decree: I felt a bit of deja vu when reading Truly You, as the beginning mimics the prequel novella Maybe It’s You. So I was a little disappointed to be reading the same information all over again. But once it switched to the new story, it moved quickly.
Iksander was a hard character to like. He had so much leftover trauma that he was purposefully ignoring and his actions toward Siobhan were hard to swallow. His journey moved at warp speed and I was hoping for more personal growth and character development.
Siobhan was the star of the show for me. She stuck to her convictions but wasn’t so stubborn that she couldn’t bend or compromise. Truly You wasn’t my favorite of this series, but I was still entertained and will be looking forward to coming back.
