Queen B’s Decree: I love a good enemies-to-lovers, so Enemies with Benefits seemed right up my alley. Ben’s teenage behavior almost bordered on bullying for me. But once they reunited as adults, they were both equally enemies. Lots of pranks here!
I did feel the chemistry between them. I enjoyed the flashbacks and seeing Ben’s true feelings as a dumb boy. It made it easier to forgive him for the dumb shit he said.
There was some definite foreshadowing and I was able to pick up on the vibes of the mystery (c’mon Makayla!!!) but even though it was a little easy to predict, I still think it was an interesting storyline and I think it added to the story,
Enemies with Benefits was overall a quick and fun read that ran the gamut from hot and sexy to deep and angsty. Loved seeing the conclusion of the friend group!
