Queen B’s Decree: I love a science-y romance. I’m a scientist at heart—I can’t help it.
Love on the Brain had all the things needed for a perfect, nerdy romance.
- hot, aloof hero
- quirky, genius heroine
- just enough science terms without feeling like a lecture
- misunderstandings because both characters are oblivious
- a little bit of a mystery
I love the interactions between Bee and Levi. Told entirely through her point-of-view, I could totally see why she interpreted their interactions badly. But once we get to know Levi a little more, it was even more clear how obsessed he was with her. And I just can’t resist a male lead that pumps up his woman, wants her to succeed, and just adores everything she does.
Love on the Brain felt vibrant and fun and I couldn’t stop reading. A wonderful and sweet story, I’ll definitely be reading more from this author.
