Queen B’s Decree: The Hookup Plan was pure enjoyment. It had so much going for it, it needs a list.
- enemies-to-lovers trope
- snarky back and forth banter
- great sexual chemistry
- both MC have their shit together
- communication and discussion
- minimal angst
While The Hookup Plan is third in the series, I hadn’t read the others prior and I don’t feel any less for it, it works as a standalone.
I really enjoyed London. Is it an ego if you back it up? She was smart, hard-working, and she went after what she wanted. It’s just those pesky emotions she’s not ready to deal with. But Drew has a longstanding London infatuation, so he’s gonna take what he can get while trying to convince her for more.
I love seeing them both fall deeper for each other (even if London tried to deny it initially) and how they both discuss their hang-ups and trauma about life. I’m always about characters who communicate.
A quick and entertaining read, The Hookup Plan was fun and addicting. Will definitely be looking for more from Farrah Rochon.
