Queen B’s Decree: Now I don’t often read anthologies. They’re a risky business—novellas can be difficult to master. But I wanted to highlight a few of the stories in the Knot Over You Anthology that deserved a second look.
Their Sweet Omega by Maya Nicole: was cute and sweet. Kenzie meets her pack at a speed dating event (which is adorable, I love this idea) and fast forward to their smutty times, which is what we all want anyway. The End.
In Luck by Hannah Haze: I loved the “boss hates me but actually secretly has pined for me for a year” vibe. Anna meets Liam and his pack when she’s in the middle of her heat but attempting to buy some chocolate bars to get her through. You can guess what happens next and it’s a lot of naked fun. Hints of M/M but no follow through.
Unpacking Piper by Calliope Stewart: Piper is all set to marry a pack of her father’s choice when she meets Pack Lawson at her engagement party. She runs away to her family’s beach house—surprise, your neighbors are the addicting-smelling pack you’re running away from. Would have appreciated a little more explanation about what happens during their beach house months, but overall was a cute and light story.
Lavender Moon by Sarah Blue: My girl Sarah never lets me down. A perfectly smutty read with some step-sibling taboo. Just enough character development and plot progression mixed with the best part—smut.
Omega’s Climb by Aisling Cousins: This was cute, despite its dystopian feel. Nissa climbs the wall that separates the alphas from the betas/omegas in order to escape her fate of being used as a sex doll. There she finds a pack of adorably sweet alphas. Her men are so adoring and sweet and I loved it.
