So I originally had this reading list combined with Ice Planet Barbarians/IceHome. But our queen, Ruby Dixon, just.keeps.writing and the list just kept growing.
The Corsairs are messakh pirates but they live in a more developed world compared to our lovable blue men from IPB. There is no resonance since they aren’t trapped on the uninhabitable ice planet, but when they do fall, they fall just as hard. The overall vibe is different, but still just as enjoyable as the original.
I love the Corsairs! They deserved their own list.
The Original Corsairs Series:
- 0.5 – Prison Planet Barbarian – Jutari and Chloe; was originally a one-off from the IPB series, but as you can see, the world expanded.
- 1 – The Corsair’s Captive – Kivian and Fran (Kivian is Jutari’s pirate brother)
- 2 – In the Corsair’s Bed – Tarekh and Cat
- 3 – Enticed by the Corsair – Alyvos and Iris
- 4 – Deceiving the Corsair – Sentorr and Zoey
The next connected series is the Corsair Brothers. They are Zoey’s adopted messakh brothers and they get into even more trouble than Kevin’s crew!

- 2 – Kaspar – Kaspar and Alice
- 3 – Straik – Straik and Ruth; technically Straik is a cousin? But he’s so lovable I can’t even.
The last brother’s book should be out next month and I can’t wait to read it. Updated list coming soon!
