Queen B’s Decree: I haven’t read the previous in the series, but I’ve met both main characters in other books, and I’ve been looking forward to Lang’s book since I first met him.
Forever With Me was surprisingly fun and light, considering the darker premise. Lang is working undercover with Fitz to both protect him and help take down an evil mastermind. There was a bit enemies-to-lovers towards the beginning, but it was mostly harmless and fun bickering. There’s a bit of an age gap between them, but Fitz felt young-at-heart while Lang’s past forced him into an early maturity.
Overall, Forever With Me was fun and sweet and I enjoyed seeing these two together.
