Queen B’s Decree: For I Have Sinned is the kind of quality taboo that I crave.
Jersey has been stealing food from Father Adair’s church to feed her little brother that she stole away from a dangerous situation. And for some reason, Wesley, a.k.a. Father Adair, knows that she was meant to be placed in his life, for him to help and cherish. He’s been faithful to his calling and celibate for the last 12 years, but this is the first time he’s ever been tempted.
Wesley was such a fantastic character. You could really feel how conflicted he was over his growing feelings for Jersey. He was the best kind of man to be a pastor or a priest: it was clear he cared for his congregation without judgment.
And Jersey was resilient. She was strong and protective and I have to admire her for being able to trust Wesley when she had so many reasons not to.
Hot, short, and sweet, For I Have Sinned was a great addition to the Itty-Bitty Delights.
