Queen B’s Decree: If you recall, Triple Threat was the first in this duet about the Terror Triplets, who were the evil villains from the Cinderella Series. My prediction after book #1 was that the scariest triplet, Scout, would become my favorite by the end of Death Wish.
Oh past me, how well you understand me.
Landry is shook to her core to realize that the one man she’s been dealing with is instead three identical triplets and that they’ve now claimed her. But what the trips don’t know is that Landry is tough as steel, and even psycho Scout won’t scare her for long.
I kind of love that Scout remains this morally grey character. He loves Landry and Della and will do anything for them, and yet, he’s not apologetic for previous actions and would likely do it all over again. Gotta respect a man for sticking with his crazy, I suppose!
Landry is such a strong character, we don’t even learn how strong she is until the end of Death Wish. Honestly, no other woman could have turned the Terror Triplets into adoring partners. The connection between her and her triplets is palpable and their intimate scenes together are amazingly hot.
K Webster’s writing always sucks me in and then BOOM. The book is over and I’m wanting more.
