Queen B’s Decree: I loved that Scared to Love was a slow burn.
Serena was in an abusive marriage and it’s a slow road to recovery for her. I was so proud to see her go to therapy and do what she could to heal and better herself before jumping into another relationship.
Alesso was a wonderful hero. He was patient and adoring and so kind.
The mafia storyline got a little boring at times, but only because much of it was already discussed in the previous books in the series (the timeline overlaps a bit).
The ending was amazing. Serena showed how strong she was and I loved the mystery and suspense of it all. Scared to Love was a great ending to the Mazzone Mafia trilogy and I can’t wait to see what the spin-offs will include.
