Queen B’s Decree: Screwed Up is a bit of an opposites-attract romance. Larsen is an uptight, type-A personality and Dane is someone who coasts through life with no ambitions. But there is an instant attraction between them, and they somehow agree to a friends-with-benefits situation. No strings, just fun.
Naturally, it quickly becomes more as both start catching feelings. Screwed Up is full of sexy chemistry, witty dialogue, and funny moments. Both Larsen and Dane grew emotionally as characters and it was enriching to see so much support from each other and their group of friends.
And yet, I felt like the story dragged on. As much as I enjoyed it, I found myself growing bored at times and wanting to skip ahead.
Nonetheless, Screwed Up was a fun and light read and a great addition to the Bayside Heroes Series.
