Queen B’s Decree: Rebel Without a Claus was a cute little RomCom featuring one of my favorite type of characters: a grumpy Grinch. Quinn is stepping up and helping out at her family’s Christmas grotto but she’s lacking a Santa. Enter Nicholas: the man who took her V-card and left the next day. She begrudging “allows” him to help them out as Christmas counts down, but she’s got some real resistance to creating a friendship (or more!) with him.
The chemistry between them was palpable, but wasn’t acted on for most of the story. I appreciated that Quinn and Nicholas took the time to get to know each other all over again before rushing ahead. The banter between them was hilarious and I enjoyed the witty dialogue. The side characters were interesting enough but not overwhelming to the story.
Rebel Without a Claus was a fast-paced and cute Christmas-themed story with all the Emma Hart quirkiness you love.
