Read. Reign. Repeat.

There’s Always Someday by Harloe Rae

Queen B’s Decree: I had some hesitation before diving into There’s Always Someday. The “unrequited love” trope is sometimes so hard for me to read. It’s like watching The Office’s episode of Scott’s Tots. I just can’t watch/read without cringing.

But There’s Always Someday surprised me. While Clea has been pining for Nolan for some time, I was happy to see that Nolan was pining for her as well. Nolan is dealing with some demons and punishing himself for the past, and subsequently he’s lacking in the dad of the year department, leaving most of the parenting to Clea. And that is where Clea decides to stand up for herself and set some boundaries.

And from there, Nolan does all he can (with his daughter Tallulah’s help) to woo and win her back. Their relationship is sweet and spicy, with an engaging storyline. I also loved the relationship between Clea and Tallulah. Truly, there wasn’t anything I disliked and I loved every word.

Another great read from Harloe Rae.
