Nat and Leo’s story was a bit heartbreaking. It was clear that their past was going to cause a terrible separation, and yet I couldn’t stop turning the pages for more. Together they were swoon worthy and explosive, so knowing this was a second chance romance kept me on the edge filled with anxiety. Nat was a strong heroine with a backbone made of steel, and Leo was a loving and loyal hero, with insides full of marshmallows.
The mafia suspense and back story was well written and thrilling and I never expected the twists and secrets that were revealed. This mafia world the author has created is so intriguing and I’m definitely ready for more.
Another great read from Siobhan Davis with characters I couldn’t help but adoring.
