Queen B’s Decree: Age of Ava was a bit angsty. Hunter has always lived like a rolling stone gathering no moss, but doesn’t know what to do with the feelings inspired by Ava. He’s her new neighbor after he inherits the property from his estranged grandfather and Ava can’t keep herself away.
Their relationship felt a bit physical at the beginning, as both agree to no strings attached. But it was clear to both the reader and Ava’s family that there was something more there…if Ava and Hunter would accept it.
As emotional and as sweet as Age of Ava was, I felt like I was missing something. Maybe I wasn’t in the correct mindset or the intense emotions were too much for me, so while I enjoyed it, it wasn’t my favorite of the series.
I loved seeing the rest of the family, as they are always so accepting and friendly. It was heartwarming to see them gently add Hunter into the fold. Overall, a sweet and emotional story that pulled at your heartstrings.
