Each man lives on the dark side, with varying degrees of how dark they appear. Salvatore, Vincius, Cassius, and Lorenzo all kind of scare me, but in the good way, that makes this book so enjoyable. Chiara was a fantastic heroine – she never gave up on herself or kept doing whatever it took to survive.
As dark as this story is, it was still a slow burn. A super hot fiery slow burn where the sex scenes are hot and sexy, with the perfect amount of smut.
By the end (cliffhanger from hell, might I add) I was rooting for them all, even the crazy one that might actually kill me. First Comes Blood was a great start to a series and I am 100% on board for more.
