Queen B’s Decree: Something Like Hate is an enemies-to-lovers romance with some fierce feelings. Vannah meets Landon at a wedding where he is totally unpleasant and rude, so she is shocked to see he’s the newest client at her real estate office.
Landon is ruthless in both business and his personal life so he pursues Vannah for what he *thinks* he wants. But Vannah is a wonderfully strong Heroine and she gives as good as she gets and fights back. But the sparks between them cannot be denied. Their connection is super steamy and scorching hot and the writing was fantastic.
I loved that while they both grew feelings, it wasn’t an immediate switch from hate. Lust is one thing, but love takes more for me to believe so I loved the progression of their relationship. I must also add that while Landon was a major d-bag at times, he never undermined Vannah’s professional skill. Very refreshing.
Another great read from Harloe Rae.
