Queen B’s Decree: It Had to Be You was a lot like Love Actually. Which is perfect, as that is my favorite movie. It does mean that there are a lot of different points-of-view, so it made it a little difficult to follow along at first.
A lot of the story lines are a little cliched and predictable, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t cute and adorable. I appreciated that many of the characters were flawed and made mistakes, but the ending was a little too easily fixed and perfect. Literally all of the characters had a happy ending. How realistic is that?
I think it could have benefited from a decrease in the amount of couples, but It Had to Be You was a light and enjoyable read regardless. A nice and easy read to get you ready for spring.
